Short Film
Drip
When Anna agrees to look after her friend’s cat for the afternoon, she leaves to get ice cream instead.
My short film, Drip explores the tension between impulse and responsibility through Anna, who ditches her cat-sitting duties for a quick ice cream run. What feels harmless in the moment turns out to be a choice with unexpected, and harmful, consequences.
By centering on something as simple as melting ice cream, the film highlights how small choices can spiral into unexpected consequences, inviting viewers to reflect on the fleeting nature of time, the weight of responsibility, and the quiet anxiety that lingers beneath moments of indulgence.
